BMC WW2 D-Day Plastic Army Men - Utah Beach 40pc Soldier Figures Playset

The D-DAY UTAH BEACH 40 piece plastic army men playset is part of the BMC Toys AMERICAN HERO COLLECTOR SERIES, featuring the greatest invasion in military history. The set includes 14 American GIs in olive drab, 10 German Soldiers in gray, 2 mortars, 12 Czech Hedgehogs, a German Pillbox Bunker with a mounted Flak 37 Artillery, and a Higgins Boat LCVP Landing Craft.

What makes this set special are the character figures of Brigadier General Teddy Roosevelt Jr., Sergeant Harrison Summers, and Field Marshal Erwin Rommel. The landing craft also has a working ramp.

All pieces are made from fairly stiff and very durable polypropylene plastic with medium detail and minimal flashing. The figures stand up to 2.45 inches tall. The bunker measures 7.62 x 2.75 x 3.1 inches tall, excluding the 5-inch long cannon. The landing craft boat measures 12.8 x 3.9 x 3.25 inches tall.

BMC Toys, founded by Bill McMaster in 1991, specializes in creating historically accurate plastic army men figures and playsets, following the classic style of the 1950s and 1960s.
