WW2 German Panther V Tank - Gray 1:38 Plastic Military Vehicle

The German Army's most widely deployed tank during World War II, the WW2 Panther V Tank, is now available from the BMC Toys CLASSIC TOY SOLDIER COLLECTOR SERIES. This tank is known for its authentic detail and features a 3-man crew. The turret can rotate and has an elevating barrel with a printed bar cross insignia and a mounted LMG on top.

Made from stiff charcoal-gray color ABS plastic, the tank measures 3.45 inches wide x 3.1 inches tall x 7.1 inches long (9 inches including the long barrel), and is approximately 1:38 scale. Additionally, the tank commander 'half' figure is removable, allowing the hatch to be closed. The figures and LMG are made from charcoal-gray soft plastic. Officially, this tank goes by several names, such as Panzerkampfwagen V Panther, Pz.Kpfw. V, Mark V, and its official designation is Sd.Kfz. 171.

From 1943 to 1945, approximately 6,000 Panther V tanks were produced and deployed on both the Eastern and Western fronts of the European theater. Originally, these tanks were offered to hobby collectors by Classic Toy Soldiers Company around 2000, but now BMC Toys has partnered with them to make them available to today's youngsters.
